I'm cheating every which way.

I get a B&W copy of a picture, then turn it upside down and draw what I see that way.

Well, I'm keeping at it.
So far, this is the most recognizeable Luke I've managed. Han is getting easier to draw.

This is an alteration of the "We've just fallen out of the net" picture. Luke is supposed to be wearing Byzantine clothing.
Luke's got a very strange upper lip in the pic I'm working from.

My first piece of fan art!
It's done!

A stele (norse standing stone), in a rather phallic shape. The runes around read, in Old Norse, "Wolf and Falcon to the Mountain. Wolf and Falcon to the Fire. Wolf and Falcon to the Falcon. Kiss me Illugi. I Han, made these runes."

The top panel shows a bird and a wolf approaching a mountain. The middle shows a man on a boat with a bird overhead. The bottom is two men embracing (as shown on a goldgubber) with a happiness symbol beneath them.

The styles are copied from Norse carvings, down to the odd-looking men.

Now to ink and erase it. Monday I can scan it and send it to [livejournal.com profile] irene_heron along with the accompanying "scholarly" analysis.
