A small request for help

My father is hospitalized.

The first thing you have to know about Dad is he NEVER gets sick. This time, he's in on an intravenous antibiotic drip and vicodin. An ear infection went opportunistic and he has septic arthritis now.

I know everyone is wiped out, tapped out and all. But if you can find just a little energy or a brief prayer, send it his way? Thanks.
And not just for Dad, but for my sister, jlm121 who is doing the hard work up in the City, since I'm 500 miles away.

I know. But seriously, he's in very good hands.

Or you could kick Dad's and make him rest! His lady showed up last night and gave him a lengthy talking-to about actually using the hospital to--radical thought--get well and not treating it as an inconvenient work-space.
