A small request for help

My father is hospitalized.

The first thing you have to know about Dad is he NEVER gets sick. This time, he's in on an intravenous antibiotic drip and vicodin. An ear infection went opportunistic and he has septic arthritis now.

I know everyone is wiped out, tapped out and all. But if you can find just a little energy or a brief prayer, send it his way? Thanks.
And not just for Dad, but for my sister, jlm121 who is doing the hard work up in the City, since I'm 500 miles away.

Or you could kick Dad's and make him rest! His lady showed up last night and gave him a lengthy talking-to about actually using the hospital to--radical thought--get well and not treating it as an inconvenient work-space.

I want to thank everyone including my sister for all their good thoughts and prayers. As Angel will tell you he is a stubborn man who doesn't like to slow down enough to admit he is sick. He's doing better tonight, though he will have to have a small surgical proceedure on his shoulder tomorrow to assess the spread of the the infection. So please keep him in your thoughts. I truly appreciate each and every one you, with so much going on it means a lot that you all would do this.
