Trans Question, cut for length:

We finished a Robin Hood novel in which Maid Marion is bio-male, but presents, acts and passes for female. (One character has fantasies of getting her pregnant) Throughout the story, we use female pronouns to describe her.

Only three times does Marion acknowledge she is bio-male.
Once with Robin when she is being intimate. She explains she knows, but she doesn't know how to be a man and being a woman is safer for her and her beloved Bess.
The second time is a big reveal, stripping to her braies and announcing name and parentage in front of a lot of nobles in order to establish authority.
The third is when Robin asks why she doesn't wear men's clothing. She just laughs and says she's happy enough to be the Lady of Locksley.

So those with more trans experience:

That's fine, Papa and Uncle David ARE pervy. They are the only other people who have keys to her apartment. Papa answers her calls from a client's bed. Uncle David has the place thoroughly bugged, live feeds and all.

And Adina has some huge daddy issues. They don't quite cross the line, but they run right up to it.
