Documenting pain
May. 16th, 2008 07:09 pmWednesday, I dropped a loadbar across the back of my neck.
This is a 10' long piece of 4x4 aluminum. I was hooking it to the upper rail (about 6.5' high) when one end slipped and it came down on me. I hurt. I am having trouble holding my head up and level. Shooting pains go down the sides of my spine now and then.
Today, I was getting a piece out and a sheetmetal piece, either a door or a tailgate, but at least 20lbs, fell on my face, snapping my head back. I heard crunching from my neck and my glasses were knocked off.
I'm seeing my dr Monday.
(After I pay my first traffic ticket for a burned-out brake light...which ISN'T)
