I got my first Ellora's Cave cover. It's under the cut. Along with my reactions.




OK, he looks nothing like either man in the story. He looks like an escapee from an 80's teen movie.

Dear Bird, he's molesting the pumpkin.

Thumb ring. *snicker* Wrist tat *snerk* Tight little brown nipples...hmm, pumpkin guts are sexy? Who knew?

I think I'd make the author name font match the title, and the "Trick or Treat" match "Ellora's Cave"

Isn't "Trick or Treat" in the same font as "Raising the Dead"? Looks like it is to me. But either way, I do agree. It just isn't done very well all the way around.

It is. I'd prefer it to say "Tricks or Treats: Raising the Dead" (ooo, watch Angel violate EC's colon hate!)

And i wouldn't blazon my name across his perky man-titties. I'd put it down where the "Trick or Treat" is now, and in the same font as them.

Basically, it comes down to EC's artistic director (assuming they have one) has no clue what their doing.
