Mama Bear time

Bunny and I talked this evening.

She's not just taking a little crap at school (a little being defined as a random vicious comment that everyone gets). She's being actively assaulted on a daily basis. Some little bitch thinks it's funny to push her down the stairs of the gym.

So, she's keeping a log of what happens, when and who is behind her when she gets shoved. Also on the efforts she makes to avoid it. And Monday, she's going to the gym teacher with it. "I'm getting pushed down the steps. Could you keep an eye on things when we come in and see if you can catch them in the act?"

Should the gym teacher (who is a good sort) not act, we move up the chain calmly and cleanly, until I am standing in the principal's office yelling about assault law-suits.


On an upside, we got her pen and ink and some sample alphabets she likes. She's practicing.

Have her report to the school nurse after being shoved so that she can get any bruises, etc. documented. That'll kill two birds with one stone, both documenting things for this problem and possibly distracting Nasty Nursie from harassing you.

It's only 4 steps and she always lands on her feet. No bruises.

But the Nurse giving me trouble is exclusive to the elementary school. They have a different one at the Jr. High.

Great idea tho'.
