I spent 40 minutes on the phone making an appt. at a clinic I've been going to for 4 years. This is ridiculous. The earliest they can get me in is the 28th. And to add insult to injury, I'm classed as a "New patient." My dr. moved to NC.
This is why it pays to memorize your policy and group number, boys and girls. I rattled them off on the phone, since my wallet was in the van.

They're all very keen to push the message of vigilance down your throat but I still had to suffer three months of bureaucratic incompetence while waiting to have a pre-cancerous lesion removed.
