I spent 40 minutes on the phone making an appt. at a clinic I've been going to for 4 years. This is ridiculous. The earliest they can get me in is the 28th. And to add insult to injury, I'm classed as a "New patient." My dr. moved to NC.
This is why it pays to memorize your policy and group number, boys and girls. I rattled them off on the phone, since my wallet was in the van.

Date: 2004-07-08 06:02 pm (UTC)But when you've been going to the same dr. for 5 years, you expect them to be able to find you in the computer (they couldn't), have the right address (they didn't) and already have your insurance info on file (they had one I haven't had for 4 years.
