So i heard this on the radio. And I immediately wanted to do a Han/Leia EU video. Unfortunately, that would mean too many purchases of mediocre comics. And a low likelihood of getting what i want.

Maybe I'll just filk it for some zine next year.

Had a brief "Squee!" moment at work. I was looking for spine labels and all of a sudden: Luke! Right there on the corner of a book that was being used to model the SF label. I am so hooked.

I'm also short 4 squares on the afghan due tomorrow. Must rise early and remedy this.

Not a good morning

So I'm waking up and I decide to do my self-exam, since I'm already flat on my back.

Ok, ok, ok, oh shit. A nice lump right above the underside ridge on the left one.

I'm hoping the lump I felt is just menstrual bloating. But I've made an appointment for my annual exam. Not too worried. Cancer doesn't run in my family. But the fact it hurts now that I've been prodding it and has been uncomfortable for a week anyway, that worries me.

But still. Oh shit.

Paperwork

Stupid buracracy. Stupid insurance.

I spent 40 minutes on the phone making an appt. at a clinic I've been going to for 4 years. This is ridiculous. The earliest they can get me in is the 28th. And to add insult to injury, I'm classed as a "New patient." My dr. moved to NC.


This is why it pays to memorize your policy and group number, boys and girls. I rattled them off on the phone, since my wallet was in the van.
