That phase of the moon
Apr. 3rd, 2003 05:32 pm"APRIL is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain."
Seemed fitting.
I must be ovulating. Every male, and most females, look good to me.
And half the male profs have visited/flirted with me today. Even grouchy old Dr. E. Strong pheromones? I mean, I'm wearing a turtleneck! (and not a tight one either)
I was tempted to go proposition Barb in Engineering on my lunch break. She pings my gaydar even if she is married.
Also, was overcome by urge to create a Luke-centric zine (Small, around 100-150 pages), open to any pairing (or none) but having regular themes. Because I am a tech-writer, a nitpicker and a general believer in CYA, I started by doing the Writers' Guidelines. I worried they were a bit draconian and have been told they are nervous-making.
( Did I intimidate myself right out of my pool of talent? )
I really need advice from editors with more experience.
These are mostly for me, to keep me even-handed and to have something to refer back to. I just want it all in black and white so nothing gets done "on the fly."
(I wrote Nuclear Reactor Operating Procedures. Does it show?)
