Out of the tens of thousands of stories submitted every year for the Ellora's Cavemen anthology setries, mine is one of the 24 chosen for the 2009 schedule!
Ellora's Cavemen is the flagship anthology. It's the one that goes out to every book store all over the country.
My piece is right now called "Brazen Cherry Tart." It'll be getting a new title. It's a steampunk adventure, in which Chastity Millwood is being shipped to the Io colony in disgrace with her aunt. Auntie plans to marry Chastity off quickly, but Chastity has other plans, mostly involving a handsome junior officer, Ulysses Carter.
This is huge. I'm half in shock that they TOOK it. Mudd says I should stop squeeing, because the dogs in the neighborhood are howling.

I don't know how many changes you've made on the story since I read in july, but I greatly enjoyed it.
This is truly wonderful and you've worked extremely hard for a number of years so Squee till all the dogs in the state howl.

The pay sucks, but the sheer volume makes up for it.
