It's "Talk Like A Pirate" Day!
That time in September when sea dogs remember
That grown-ups still know how ta play!"
It be a grand day in the Sparrow house.
We'll be honorin' our fictional ancestor with much bellowing and arring
Here, we'll be having a couple o' contests.
For a copy of the short story, "Talk Like a Pirate Day," ye must name all ten fictional swashbucklers and their movies. A winner will be selected from all right answers
For a copy of the novel, Kestrel on the Horizon, whoever names the most of the real pirates and privateers will win. If more than one person manages all ten, there'll be a drawing.
The contest will close Monday, so ye've all weekend to work on it.
