1) Joe Biden? The first rule of warfare is Never Give Your Enemies Ammunition. They WILL shoot you with it. So the dems picked a guy who had to terminate his own presidential run over a plagarized speech. Yeah... READY!

2) Hillary Clinton. The entire Democratic National Party and the DLC have been geared to getting this woman elected since 2000. That's why John Kerry was offered as a sacrifice candidate. And she managed to lose it anyway?... AIM!

3) PUMAs. Eight years we've worked to get someone back who will return our rights. And you're ready to chuck them because they're the wrong shade of blue to suit you.

The Circular Firing Squad may now FIRE AT WILL!

There is no hope of getting that crap pointed OUT, you know, toward people who want us dead, banished or re-educated. We'll just keep savaging our own as theo-fascism gets a stronger hold.

Obama doesn't thrill me. I wouldn't be thrilled with Clinton either.
But no candidate will ever address all my issues, so I take the ones who don't overtly want me dead.

Agreed, but personally I'm damned tired of having to choose the lesser of the evils. :/

I'm still mad at Romney for dropping out. McCain's just... too conservative (or maybe crazy?) even for me. Like... I agree with some of his stuff, but other stuff, I'm like... "You're kidding, right? Right? Please? Dear God, I don't think you are. ...Please?"
I'm a little scared either way, whoever wins. Sad times.

McCain wants to TAX MY HEALTH INSURANCE AS INCOME!
That scares the daylights out of me. I am trying NOT to go into cervical cancer, I have two mentally ill children that require medication, and I'm fighting arthritis.

I work a very hard job to keep my good coverage. Getting taxed on the part of the insurance my employer pays will put all insurance completely out of reach.

according to this free handout thing I found laying around, McCain also opposes the ban on assault rifles and the waiting period for gun sales. That's what jumped out at me first, before the healthcare stuff.
Actually, on the little handout thing, his healthcare stuff looked less frightening. I liked the bit where low-income people or people with pre-existing conditions would not be denied coverage. Me and my family are about as pre-existing conditions as you can come.

Blargh. All I can hope is McCain chooses someone for a VP that fills me with confidence, otherwise I'm not looking forward to voting. =/

I totally misread your subject line and giggled.

Also, I'm a little O.o over seeing John McCain campaign ads on the CBC.
