Wiped out

I got a call this morning from my dispatcher
It was an emergency, and they needed me to drive.
I had just taken a percocet, I was by no stretch legal to drive

So, since C. was deathly ill, they couldn't reach T and I was stoned, they sent a driver up from Jackson and had me go in to navigate.

The more I run C's route, the more I like mine.
but I'm not turning my nose up at an extra $150 in my pay bucket either.

They're talking having the truck there at 6 AM. I can't even get into the building before 7.


Anyway, I got home in time for the chat.
It went very well.

Sorry I vanished. Kiddo was listening to the State of the Onion and asked, "Mommy, what's 9-11?" That required my full attention.
