Somehow or other I have taken my glasses off today...and forgotten where I put them.

I'm legally blind. My effective eyesight range is about 4 feet.
I can't see to find my glasses.

I had to reschedule my orthopedist (to 9:15 next Monday) and if i don't find them soon, I'll have to cancel my regular dr. appointment for the infected teeth that are making my face swell up and waking me up in the middle of the night.

I can't see to drive.

This is scary. I hate being old.

Ugh. Can you take a cab or get a ride from a friend? You need those teeth taken care of...

Also, check around the floor by where you might have left them. Someone could have knocked them off a table, edge of the tub or counter, or something like that.

No way I can afford a cab. And my friends all work Mondays.

I'm the only one home, so if they got knocked I did it.
I've hunted every flat surface and am reduced to hauling out a trashbag and cleaning trying to find them.
