Woo frakkin hoo!
Dec. 27th, 2007 07:51 pmI have sent off my last deadlined story of 2007.
"Talk Like a Pirate Day," a tale of two older men being silly and in love, has been sent in for Coming Together with Pride, a charity anth with proceeds to HIV/AIDS research.
My total word count for the year: 337,394
That writing meme seen everywhere:

Shell Shocked
Nikochan
Gemini Paradox

Meanwhile back at the ranch
My best story of this year:
Outfoxed. I love fairy tales
My favourite story of this year:
S is for Succubus. I love the pixie street gangs and really want to write more of DJ Admire
Most fun story to write:
Shell-Shocked. Odd that a story about a traumatized vet and a double amputee is fun. but it is, because Gabe is a naturally fun person.
Story with the single sexiest moment:
Collared hearts, when Josh voluntarily rims Anthony.
Most "Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
Alive on the inside. Lesbian siamese twincest, hermaphrodites, 18" woman using her 9' husband's penis as a stripper pole, piercings, biomech and a penis being decapitated.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
Peregrine off High Barbary and Blood Rubies. Thomas Harrison is a ruthless bastard, but he's not purely evil.
Hardest story to write:
Gemini Paradox. I can't quite get it right.
Biggest Disappointment:
Paying forfeits. its sexy and all right, but there isn't much there, there.
Biggest Surprise:
Serpents. It started out a djinn and a rakshesha and became a djinn and a naga.
Most Unintentionally Telling Story:
Rewriting old songs. Hey, lesbian trucker porn.
Seriously, 1/3rd of a million words.
That's a LOT of writing.
