10 stop days can bite me

valarltdThe line haul driver was late, so I didn't get started until after 9 (I start at 7:30)
I found a flat tire on my walk-around.
I had 4 transmission returns
I had 10 stops, which means a 300 mile run.
When I stopped to get my fuel and my tire change, I was informed my truck was WAY overdue for preventive maintenance. So I had to call Mudd to come get me and leave truck and trailer at the terminal.
That meant I had to call MY home terminal, tell them what was going on and get the run-around, to the point I had to call my DBL (dispatcher) at home and explain. only to get "Next time you need PM, let us know and we'll have line-haul bring it to Brandon." I mentioned I got nabbed while getting a flat fixed, and got an "oh, OK, sorry."
My elbow is hurting more all the time. My knees ache all the time. My bruises are killing me.
Dr on the 29th.
On the plus side: broke 2000 words on the holiday single shot.
