I got to site about 3 PM, only to find out the festival started at 1. I paid my booth fee, set up my table and went to being a pushy huckster.

About 4:10, I went to watch the parade. Color-guard, 100' flag, then PFLAG. Mudd--wearing his "Straight but not Narrow" shirt carried one end of the banner. The three kiddos rode on the float in their "I [rainbow heart] my family" t-shirts and mardigras beads and blew bubbles.

Bun, rainbow stripes on her face and a MAGY t, marched with Memphis Area Gay youth. She was very striking in khaki shorts and hiking boots and lotsa long blonde hair.

I passed out 50 matchbooks, and piles of the newsletter. I am OUT. There are more shipping for Hypericon. I also sold compendiums of out-of-print stories. My $50 Pride booth ended up costing me $15 after sales. Not too bad at all.

I talked to a lot of lovely people. I smiled a lot. I enjoyed a pleasant breeze, and some great GLBT music. It was a good day.
