valarltdAleve is a wonder drug
I can still feel the pain lurking around, waiting to sink its teeth back into me, but it's just a lurk for now. It'll be pain in a couple hours tho'. I had a 3 hour, pain-free nap on the floor. Lying down is problematic as I also have a cold. Dollface has it too, and she's been drooping around with that wilted look little kids have when they're sick.
But I got the study tidied up and added enough to "Etarin" to break 18,000 words (by about 300 words). Need to get that to my editor soon. Need to finish both Niko-Chan and Glad Hands too.
Jonner and Dollface helped in the study. Jonner has developed a real flair for doing laundry. he's managed about 8 loads this weekend. I bribed him in the study with "It's a treasure hunt, Captain Sparrow. Any money you find, you can keep." I think he made about $2 in loose change.
We also found Dollface's missing library book. So that goes back tomorrow, and I pay a fine. Better than replacing a whole book.
Mudd and Obi went down to see Bun today. Obi said it was good to see her.
My loving husband said I need not strain myself making a big dinner and bought a frozen lasagna. He's good to me. So, food in half an hour, and the futon in the front room tonight.
Nibble, nibble goes the pain, so I'm going to lie down until the lasagna is done. I've been sitting in a chair for about an hour and a half and sitting on the floor for a couple hours before that.
And "Boston Legal?" Not even making me work for it. Alan/Denny OTOP 4EVAH. Dancing on the balcony (Alan in drag) to "As Time goes by." "I love you Denny. but I still won't kiss you." Talk about fanservice!
