I marshalled the kids.

We ran dishes, ran laundry, cleaned the front room, cleaned Dollface's room and emptied the catbox. It really helps. I found where all the socks were hiding: under Dollface's bed. The boys tripped a circuit breaker by flipping on the bathroom fan.

Tomorrow, we'll tackle the boys' room and maybe get far enough that I can put up a new light fixture.

I have my Wendy's entree salad receipt. I'm going to give the 2 week free membership at Curves a try. I even have sweats. Wonder if they're open tomorrow.
(I can go Sat-Wed if they're open, and that will help.)

I know, I know, it's money to a bad cause, if I sign up with them. But they are the only gym actually on this side of the river and not in Cordova or South Haven or a trendy suburb. It's in Marion, which is OUR suburb...

Also, got "Rewriting old songs" finished for the Sappho's Chest toybox. Am within 1000 words of finishing my Torqued Fairy Tale.

Curves isnt bad for a person who has no history with a workout schedule. For anybody who is already active, or has worked out previously, its pretty useless. Not to mention, its a single circuit route, which means it will only really work for hree months before your body becomes intirely acclimatized to the routine and you need to change it, which you really cant do there.

My only real *problem* with them is the hydrolic system. Because one side of your body is naturally stronger then the other, one side will garner more resistance then the other - the side you dont need it on. Therefore, any muscular inconsistancies within your body will only grow worse, whereas with the free weights, or even a normal weight management system, the weights are more evenly distrubited between sides and your body has a chance to correct those issues.

Probably more then you ever needed to know, but there it is.

I thought the "Curves is associated with fundies" had been debunked, and that while they're not great politically, they aren't completely bad either.

But I could be wrong.

Go you for joining a gym. I have found that having the gym I belong to close by helps to take away my excuses.
