Over the river and through the woods
Nov. 23rd, 2006 01:01 pmWell, I went so today. I've been up since 7 PM last night, ran a load in from Mishawaka, and we've decided where we're going for dinner.
The kids are dressed, the weather is sunny and in the mid 60s.
I know I whine a lot in my journal, but I am thanful, more than ever this year.
I'm thankful for a good job I like, that has good pay. (Subset: I'm thankful for a good dispatcher who likes me)
I'm thankful for a husband who holds it all together on the homefront while I'm out.
I'm thankful Bun is with us this Thanksgiving. This was in some doubt in August and September. More, I'm thanksful her meds are working.
I'm thankful Obi is his brilliant and silly self, and for the way he stepped up and took responsibility when Bun was sick.
I'm thankful Jonner has been healthy and is talking more. And that he's not too big to be cuddled.
I'm thankful Dollface has glasses that work for her, that she's a snugglebum and that she's learning to read.
