Serious question, here... Does it affect our chance of publication or our copyright to put stuff up on the 'net first? I'm only putting little dribs and drabs up on templechild.

As I undestand it, posting it friends-locked is not considered publication.

Putting it on an open website or a non-locked LJ is.

This is why almost all my professional stuff (except little dribs and drabs) is f'locked.
