Repeal the Nineteenth Amendment

"Were our State a pure democracy . . . there would yet be excluded from their deliberations . . . women, who, to prevent depravation of morals and ambiguity of issue, should not mix promiscuously in the public meetings of men." Letter from Thomas Jefferson to Samuel Kercheval (Sept. 5, 1816), in 10 Writings of Thomas Jefferson 45-46, n. 1 (P. Ford ed. 1899).

To the woman he said, "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you", Genesis 3:16

We the undersigned, hereby demand that the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which reads:

AMENDMENT XIX Passed by Congress June 4, 1919. Ratified August 18, 1920. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.

shall be repealed.

September 19, 1998

The Nineteenth Amendment caused government spending to skyrocket, which converted the United States, its Constitution, and its Bill of Rights, into a totalitarian state. Professor John Lott of the Law School University of Chicago proved statistically that it was women's suffrage, and nothing else, which caused this unbridled government growth. Spending too much for government destroyed private property rights, plunged the US into huge debts and destroyed Personal Savings. Professor Lott demonstrated that the reason the increase in federal expenditures resulting from the First World War didn't return to its previous historic level was due solely to the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment in 1921. This unbridled government growth is why one third of the men in the world who are behind bars are American men, why an American man is 1,000 times more likely than a Japanese or an Italian or a Greek man to be convicted of rape, why more Americans per capita are incarcerated for just drinking and driving than Japanese are for all crimes combined even though a non-drinking woman driver is five times more likely to have a fatal accident than a drinking man driver, why existing adultery and sodomy laws are not upheld, and why the US is the only industrialized nation with a negative Personal Savings rate.

Until the Nineteenth Amendment is repealed, Christian women are invited to sign the following proxy statement, file it with their local county recorder, and fax the signed statement to 866 721 5995:

"I, as a submissive woman of God, and of sound mind, do hereby give my vote to this man of God: __________________ to exercise for the glory of Yahvh, our Creator. I make this statement publickly as an example for other godly women to emulate, and for the edification of the world through which we are passing.

I make this statement bona fide dei gratia, for Christ Jesus my Lord. Amen."

That there are people who think this way scares the living daylights out of me.

I'll bet it wouldn't take much doing to find quotes from Tom that come down firmly on the other side of that proposition, that is, in favor of women being involved in governmental affairs. And as for my dear ancestor, I know he respected the intellect and good sense of women and worked with them often. Humph. Sigh. I hope your kids can fight back against their kids.

I doubt these men have ever gotten laid, let alone sired children

And they resent that deeply.

I note it hasn't been updated for 7 years, and most of the interior pages give 404s.

There's some hope

The 404s are a nice sign (possibly that the site owner is unable to maintain it because he's in a psychiatric institution...), but a few of the links go to active pages. In one of them there are a bunch of meaningless graphs which purport to "prove" that the 19th Amendment ruined the economy. I don't think this guy understands the concept of 'correlation is not causation'. Oh, and he hasn't factored in the fact that the US government's major increases in tax revenue have coincided with periods where the US had a lot of financial commitments such as the New Deal, WWII, the Marshall Plan, the Cold War, etc.

And there's another interior page that doesn't go to a 404 in which a woman contends that the 13th Amendment (the one that repealed slavery) was a massive mistake. She claims that because people nowadays are "slaves to the IRS" it was stupid to repeal slavery. Because yes, of course, having to pay income tax is JUST like the subjugation and enslavement of an entire ethnic group. I don't know why I didn't see it before! Don't give the vote to women, allow slavery, these are fabulous ideas.

Somebody's off their meds, I rather suspect. I'm glad that most of the links don't work, but the few which did creeped me out even more than the main page.

At first I thought it was a parody site.

*boggles*

P.S. Last time I checked, Japanese women had the right to vote. I wonder why it only ruined America and not Japan, or Italy, or Greece.....

Because, obviously, only the US is God's Chosen Country!

Italy, Japan and Greece are hellbound and worldly. We're the City on the Hill.
Hence any falling away brings much harder penalties for Americans.

Ah, that explains it. I guess Canada's hellbound too. Oh well, nice to at least know what the future holds.

So, um, I know my Bible reasonably well, and I'm fairly sure I don't remember anything about America in either the Old or the New Testament. Do they have a different translation?

Canada is a sodomite whorehouse of a nation. Don't you know that?
(A STONED sodomite whorehouse at that...pass the dutchie and parade out the sodomites please)

They have the most amazing translation:
G-d's Holy Inspired Inerrant Complete Dictated Eternal Literal Precious Written Word, the (KJV) Bible.

The whole of it boils down to "Sex is bad. Women are evil. God loves you enough to punish you for eternity."

They can try to repeal the 19th amendment, but my 2nd amendment will make six to eleven eloquent arguments, depending on the make and model.
