I did it!

I passed my CDL written (92%), my air brakes (98%) and my combination vehicles (95%). The other women in the class have dropped. The office staff--all women--are cheering me on. I think they want to see the middle-aged librarian kick the twenty-something cowboys' butts.

My teacher was even impressed. "You're good."

I'm running a study group on Saturday after class for the guys who didn't get it. most of them missed it by one or two questions.

(*Gives Angel a twirl as well*) I am truly very happy for you. And you poo-poo'ed that you didn't have any skills after losing that last job. Who would have guessed? (*Grin*) Never know until you try. A quote from our mutual friend, Han Solo, however: "That's great kid! Don't get cocky..."

The point is, I had no skills.

So I went to school to acquire a few.

Well... Apparently there is "skill" & then there is "natural aptitude." (*grin*)
