So today, I decided to clear out some of the TiVo stuff.

I got up to Mid October on Rome, deleted about half the Smallville because they sounded dumb, opted out of My Fair Lady after "Aouw! I'm a good girl I am." And the whole "I could turn this guttersnipe into a duchess" bit. Because, dude, just spent Nov doing that, thanks. Did not get into "Commander in chief" because again, political intrigue? Done that.



The I watched "Sleeper Cell" which is the new HBO primetime offering. I am dead-dead-dead of the hot. The power of Oded Fehr's lower lip compels me... It was taut, well-written and established the characters beautifully. And extra big bonus points for a "Brimstone" shoutout! "You go your way, i'll go Yahweh."

It's like "24" from the other side. And now, now my warped brain wants to write 24/Sleeper cell crossover with Jack Bauer hunting Farik, because the whole frelling WORLD needs to die of that hotness.
eyeless_angel, I'll work with Mudd to get you copies, since I remember you saying you don't get HBO. You use VHS? Ditto pickingroses.


Angel got her fangirl back, for something besides Fandom High. I have about 100 words written on yuletide, which is a start.

I chide you for skipping SMALLVILLE - the hotness would surely have overcome (almost) all the writing.

I have had a huge crush on Oded Fehr since the first MUMMY movie. Did you know he actually served in the Israeli army? Not all the macho is acting.

After the scary-painful "Clark and Lana lose their virginities to each other" bit, I'm off SV.


And since he is over 25, yes, it's a given that Fehr served in the army. All Israelis, male and female, do a hitch.

I just have a thing for middle-eastern men. My husband says it's the logical result of having Afghani and Pakistani doctors my entire childhood.
