They are extremely cute. And speaking as someone whose mother always bought my Halloween costumes because she could not sew or do crafty stuff (my mum is a wonderful person, but anything beyond sewing on buttons is beyond her), I am deeply admiring of your ability to make costumes for your kids.
Show these pics to the case worker! Or better yet, the stupid school nurse. I mashed potatoes the other night, and, seeking to find the energy to really use the masher vigorously, I imagined the nurse's head. Very violent of me, and not at all helpful to you, but I thought you might wish to know. Perhaps my ill-wishing vibes caused her to have a severe headache, brought on from several time zones away!
The timestamp on the complaint--made about all three big kids--does NOT match a time when all three are together...
I didn't make either of the costumes, to be honest. We borrowed the squirrel suit from a friend. And the Oompa Loompa is all off the rack (baggy black shorts, black T, orange tank) or net-ordered (the socks). All the wigs were done by the director.
