So, i'm tired of this waistlength mass of hair. It's heavy, it's miserably hot. It takes for-freakin'-ever to dry.

Since it's getting shot with grey, I decided to go ahead and cut it.
I meant to go to my shoulders.

Ooops. Oops isn't even close to enough. Fuckses, precious!

Damn. It hasn't looked this bad since I had the perm and trimmed my bangs too short back in college.

Aww...I feel for ya. I went through the same thing about two years ago. Just was so massively sick of my ass-length hair I got it all cut off in a bob. Yeeeah...it really, really brought out my latent resemblance to Hillary Rodham-Clinton, whom I hasten to note I admire greatly, and who is an attractive woman. However. It was more than a little creepy to look like a Harvard-Radcliffe grad-student from the 1970s.
