A casting

I don't ordinarily do castings. They cost me dearly on the health front.
But tonight, one is called for. My oldest daughter is being stalked by an abusive ex and I am putting a protection over her, her car, her home and her cat.

I am casting by Hera and Aphrodite for her safety (Hera is my goddess and Aphrodite is hers) Hermes for the safety of her car, Hestia for the safety of her home and Selena for the safety of her namesake, my daughter's familiar.

At 9 PM, central, I will begin.

Three-faced Selene, mistress of the night,

Goddess of the hunt and wild things,

hear now as we implore your protection

On one too small to protect herself.

Your namesake, the familiar Selena,

requires your protection in this perilous hour.

We know, o many-named one, that you the Night

You are justice and necessity and vengeance.

Protect the innocent cat against one

who seeks harm on her and her mistress.

 

 

Light white candle, visualize car

Hermes lord of passage, lord of travel

who gives safe journey to merchant and thief alike,

hear now my prayer.

The transportation of my daughter is in jeopardy.

Encircle and protect it from those who would damage it.

Confuse them with darkness and tricks that they may lose sight of it.

Keep her safe as she travels, as she works and as she sleeps.

 

 

Light final red candle, visualize Victoria again

 

 

Aphroidite, beloved Cyprean, who works the love between man and woman,

guard your daughter and mine

The love has soured, the plighted troth is broken

Now he wishes hardship upon her.

Guard your girl and keep her safe from the depredations

of the one she once loved.

Open his eyes that he sess it is not love or desire, but merely revenge that sparks these.

Grant him shame and humility that he sees his wrong and ceases his actions.
