The remastering of "Get Around" continues. The acquisition of source for "Phantom" continues.

The Necrocest got a couple pages added (And I know how it ends--badly), the ST Viking AU got a couple pages. Now I just need to establish a relationship, make the raid in spring (Drakkar sleeps in her icy bed and all that jazz), and go from there. Kirk always seems to end up the villain in historical AUs. In the actual timeline, I write him as a good solid friend to both, but let me go Roman or Viking and all of a sudden--bammo! Evil, lust-driven, power-hungry, etc, whether Roman Praetor or Orkney Norse chieftain.

I de-kinked "Drive" taking it way down to a level I consider naughty as opposed to kinkily hot.

I don't know where the sudden energy and creative drive is coming from. I got most of the front room cleaned today. Needs sweeping then vacuuming.

I watched "24." Jack Bauer is having a really, really bad day. Looks like Tony has had a bad couple years.

And for the very first time, subtext! I don't want to go to the Jack/Tony place. I really, really don't. But Jack loves Tony very much, and that comes through. Especially in the line "Why didn't you ever call me?" I kept expecting to hear Tony say (in the style of Phillip of France) "I didn't think you'd answer."

The problem is, 24 eps are like potato chips. You can't eat just one. I really need to watch once a month and do it in blocks of 4 or 5.

I finally got to see "Starsky and Hutch," most of it. I had to leave about the time they're busting the big dealer at the bat mitzvah. Dollface recognized Owen Wilson right away from the Shanghai movies. Oh, stars, is this bad. What a piece of trash. I can't wait to get home and see the rest. Huggy is hot. Hotter than he has any business being. And I love his hyperintelligent lieutenant. The dance duel! Oh! I was falling off the futon. And is it me, or did they get the characters a little backward? I thought Hutch was the neatfreak healthnut and Starsky was a bit of a slob.

Jonner was feverish yesterday afternoon, but Bunny said he was ok yesterday night. "He's normal now." In the background, i heard Obi add "Or he could turn out just like the rest of us!"

Mudd is 39 on Saturday. I've known him for 19 years. Next year, he'll have had me around for half his life.
