I couldn't find my socks today. So I nicked Bunny's grey knee socks from the Sock Basket. I love these. They are soft, warm and stay UP! I've never had a pair of knee sox stay up like this. Everyone may get socks for Christmas next year.

So, rayon pants and shirt. Wool sox. Wool coat. Angel with a strong EM field. Unsuspecting computer.

What's wrong with this picture?

The dime-sized spark that leaped from my desk to my finger sent my poor computer into shock. It screeched until I powered off.

I still want socks like this for myself. And I'll just make COTTON pants instead.

Also: 4 year olds and The Outer Limits don't mix. We bought Dollface the components to her Big Girl Bed today. But she doesn't want it. She never wants to sleep alone again. Because Mudd let her watch an episode where a troll takes up residence under a kid's bed. Our box springs sit square on the floor, no "under the bed" for us. I just sawa pic from the ep. No wonder the kid is scared. Definitely failed her fright check and gained a new -5 disadvantage.

Spoke to Mudd about this little "Ooops!" on the phone. I had a niece this age once with similar problems. Try informing her that the boogy man only goes after childen who lie awake in their beds, as it's no fun for the boogy man to snatch them if they're asleep so they can't see him coming. Spoils the flavor. The boogy man is a performance artist, after all, and nobody wants an audience to sleep when they come up to do their thing. Sleeping quietly keeps the boogy man away. If that fails, their's always the formidable night light at the bedside, as these blasted things hurt his sensitive eyes so badly that he can't bear to even enter the room to get under the bed in the first place. Closet monsters are a whole different breed & story entirely though.
