valarltd1) Backyard Burgers' Texas Tumbleweed Burger is a glorious thing.
2) the child-eating sofa at Chez Mudd has been replaced with a metal futon. Mudd has no skills. Bunny seems to have inherited mine. Now I just have to get her to quit calling herself "second generation repair-dyke." She's 12. I'd rather she get a few kisses before she starts deciding what accessories her sweetie should have. And i don't want her to embarass herself or me in front of her grandparents.
3) The Sims 2 is crack. I don't eat. I don't sleep. I just guide my sims through their lives. (It doesn't hurt that I made SW sims, right down to Han's sideburns and Luke's tousled hair) I've learned the headmaster doesn't approve of same-sex households, the Elixir of Life should be gotten as soon as possible, as should the career reward.
Han is a medical specialist, and Luke is a mad scientist. They like to play chess together, and study together on the big blue couch in their nice blue living room. They've adopted two children, Hrek and Vanessa (Hrek was an infant so Han named him. We got Van as a toddler, and she was already named, pity as Luke was planning to name her Padme). The work schedules were such the nanny only had to come 3 days a week.
They have a weird house. The staircases are outside. The main floor has The front room, the bathroom (tip: black toilets are hard to see), the kitchen and dining area, their room, the study with Han's operating theater, Luke's medical experiment station, and the computer and Vanessa's bedroom. Upstairs is the star-watching balcony, the rec room with the TV, chessboard, bar and easels. (Hrek sneaks his Da's liquor, Han hasn't caught him yet) Hrek's bedroom, the Blue Bathroom and the exercise balcony (which no one ever uses).
The kids are teens, and I keep delaying Han's advancement to elder with the Elixir. Must get reward points up in the next couple days and get a new jug.
I've created a husband for Vanessa. Hrek is on his own once he moves out. Vanessa will propose and John will move in. The dads will move out and live in Han's old place, just across the street (it has 3 rooms: bath, bed and great room) John is working on the science track and will eventually become a mad scientist like Luke. He's a blue-eyed blonde and looks a bit like Luke too. I think Vanessa has a Daddy-complex.
Luke had an affair with the nanny, but Han got caught canoodling in the hot-tub with the sim of my husband during Hrek's birthday party. Sims are sluts. They woo-hoo at any chance they get. I love the cheesy grinning heart for that.
Mudd is taking me out for my birthday tonight. Not sure where. Plus, much cleaning afterward, chat and get Vanessa all grown up. Also must get John advanced from lab-rat (he should have eaten the BLUE licorice) to at least a teacher.
My dad's coming in for the holidays around Wednesday. I have to find the kids' swimsuits.
Tomorrow, either more cleaning or a trip to Market Pro for computer shopping. So I can quit booting the kids off my computer.
