valarltd1) I'm working with a Q hook,making a two-strand afghan. It's...different. I'm not sure I like it. It's awkward. I go much faster with an F-K sized hook. (for those who don't know what I'm talking about, a J hook is about the size of a pencil. A Q hook is roughly half an inch thick.) It makes huge stitches, and the work expands quickly, but it's so clumsy I'm slow with it. I'm working in baby pink, and a pink/blue/yellow varigated.
2) Baked cupcakes today.
3) Bunny got recommended for Duke University's Talent Identification Program. They take the SAT in 7th grade, and are eligible for special tutoring.
4) And I am off tomorrow for the first time since the 17th.
