It's cold and damp and in my fingers. i may have to make some gloves that only leave the first knuckle bare so I can type.

I dropped my umbrella and my stew as I got out of the car. Swell, now my van will smell like Gully Dwarf Stew for a week.
I also have to go to McD's for dinner. I only have $1 and it's closest.

Payday tomorrow. My shopping list gets both longer and shorter, and the budget stretches with each new find and flier. Kroger has apples on 3 lbs/$1, which is fabulous. I need like 50 apples for this thing. And i found some unflavored gelatin, some blue jello and lots of mayo when i cleaned the pantry. And my Worcestershire sauce is almost full.

But i was looking forward to my stew. It's one of my favorite crockpot things.

Meat from 2 medium lizards (2lbs stew meat)
2 Tbsp. flour, two times
2 potatoes and one for pot, mangled
2 carrots, two times, stabbed
2 onions, murdered
1 stalk celery, stabbed
2 cloves garlic, mashed
2 Tbsp. parsley
1 bongleberry leaf (bay leaf works)
1 tsp. red gunk (paprika)
1 tsp. $#@*! sauce (Worcestershire)
2 c. water, burbled
2 bouillon cubes, crushed
1 tsp. salt
1 sneeze black pepper (1/2 tsp.)

Whomp lizard over head couple times. Throw in big pot. Add rest of gunk. Build big fire under
pot, take nap.

OR Coat meat in salt, pepper and flour. Dissolve bouillon cubes in water, pour over meat. Add cubed potatoes, sliced carrots and chopped onion. Add seasonings. Stir well. Cook over low heat 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally. (This is a good crockpot recipe.)

Makes about 4 servings.
