(Sammiches is a childish way of spelling/pronouncing "sandwiches")

Grilled cheese sandwiches: take 2 slices of bread, butter one side of each slice. Put slices of cheese (preferably Velveeta pasturized process cheese food) on the unbuttered side of one slice, cover with the other.

Butter should be out on both sides. Fry until golden brown. Peel open just enough to insert dill pickles, and serve with cream of tomato soup. A little bit of heaven on a cold winter day.
