It occured to me that it might be interesting if we each listed three of our lesser known/hidden talents; I hope people spread this around.

Oh man, is there anything I don't talk about on here? I don't believe in "hidden" talents.

1) I have a near-absolute sense of direction. I very seldom get lost, and given a map, that shrinks to "never."

2) I have a junk-heap trivia memory that tosses up the oddest stuff almost instantly. This has gotten me a reputation for being much smarter than I am.

3) Improvisation is my speciality. I can't tell you how many times I started cooking something, only to find I didn't have all the ingredients. A quick shift, and something else just as tasty resulted. Likewise, sewing, birthday presents and shopping.

1. I'm always baffled by people with a good sense of direction. How do you do it? Are there magnents in your brain?

I just know which way North is. I have a map of the city, or state or my route, in my head and can follow it. (topo maps require compasses, tho')

The only times I get carsick is whgen I don't know which direction I'm going. That only happens when I'm a passenger.

The ironic thing? I can't tell you which is my right hand without picking up a pencil.

2) Did you know that while it was totally unacceptable for a young man to be gay in Norse society, it was expected of elderly men? "All men are argr as they age." (Argr=desirous of men) Geezer lovin' vikings!

3) It's not a bad one.

You know, that doesn't sound to hard, perhaps I'll have to try memorizing a city map. I have to pretend that I have a pencil in my hand to tell which is right and which is left, they never taught us in school. I learned after the School Nurse made fun of me when I was in 3rd grade for not knowing.
