I've always been a huge embarassment to my family, because I would talk about that which was kept hidden. I didn't pretend my uncle was "living in Springfield." I said flat-out "He's incarcerated in the place for the Criminally Insane. And he'll never see daylight again. Good thing too. That way my kids won't be proficient at fellatio before they can write their names, like I was."
