State of the Sookie

I am on writing hiatus.

Nothing much else accomplished. Rethinking my life.

Went to Jonner's Awards Ceremony. He got one for excellence in Algebra II.

Thinking of you

It's not a bad rethinking. It's more a re-evaluation. Where do I want my career to go and how do I get there? What do I want to be doing a year from now? (how can I sell more books?) What do I want to write? You know, all of that.

My husband is getting ready to be a truck driver and my oldest son is going to college. Suddenly, it's me and the littles (neither of whom is so very little any more) and I have to be the at-home, do-it wife and mom.

Death and The Fool have been coming up consistently since the beginning of the year. I'm on the brink. Now I just have to follow the Trickster over the edge and into something new. Change is scary.
