I definitely don't want it to become easy, it's too important to change on a whim (and I'd definitely count the FMA as a whim). And I doubt the Rep's will try to crush the dissenters. I think they'll just do a "well, we tried" sort of thing and not mention the ones who voted against it. I've rarely seen Republicans call anyone a turncoat, not even Gray Davis. :) KC
