I know how. I worked Sunday and Monday nights, got off at midnight and had to be back at 8 AM Tueday.

Last night I vegged and watched "A Wrinkle in Time" with my girls. Bunny liked it. And Dollface followed the main plot, driving me crazy every 5 minutes with "Where's her daddy? Are they going to save her daddy now?"

Mudd got bee-stung last week and his thumb (the right one, natch) is still swollen.
Tonight I had to work some screws so he could give his computer a brain-boost. Instead of 80G, he has 120G. It helps.

Knew Aunt Flo was on the way when Bunny burst into tears over the fact it was Cheerios for breakfast. Sure enough. Told Mudd to take the littles camping because today was sure to be unliveable.

I shelved 200 fraggin books today! All the new books had to have their location and item type codes changed(5 different numbers of 6 digits each) and then be put away.

24 is going nicely. I can't wait to hear what Saunders wants. Makes me feel like a Shadow: "What do you want?" (Mudd is getting B5 eps for a Bester vid he's planning. I need elderly Londo/G'Kar.)

I keep pilfering from the lost and found. Hells, if an umbrella has been there since February, it's a good bet the original owner didn't need it. Ditto the red plaid scarf I got for Bunny's Camel.

Fannish wise, I teeter on the brink of a huge research project for an AU which involves samurai, Hopi, mudheads, Civil War Desertion, mineral rights, gunshot wounds, medicine and shamanism and healing, and the thirdsex tradition among the Southwest Peoples. (as in do they have it?) The Woodland tribes believed that if a boy dreamed of the moon--which was shown as hermaphroditic and carried both a bow and a basket--and wasn't quick enough to grab the bow, he got the basket and became homosexual, with a special direct line to the gods.

The Pueblo peoples, of which the Hopi are one, had a Sacred Twins tradition as opposed to a "Good Twin/Evil Twin" as many of the Eastern tribes had. And as always Grandfather or Grandmother (often Grandmother Spider) raised them.

That will have to wait until after I'm finished with stuff for VividCon.

I need to finish my Christmas crochet squares. i am behind on my crafting.
Flower exchange, square exchange, both undone. The Christmas one is about 2/3 finished.

Con updates:
Birds of Prey has quit kicking my ass and turned into something presentable.

I'm at $10 on the WriterCon Auction. Thanks to those who have bid on me.

I am still poking on the Auction vid. "I will Always Love you" is a Leavin' song. But I may work around the words, and just have my boys in love.

Still haven't sewn. I like doing it, why do i procrastinate so badly?
I'm scared of the machine. That's why. Ever since I ran it through my finger in 1997, I've been skittish about it. You'd think after 7 years I'd be over it. But I can still feel Mudd picking the bobbin thread out of the wound.

OK, enough squick.

I'm going to bed with my husband! (the novelty of this is not wearing off any time soon.)
