On Fandom_wank at journalfen, Virago said, in a discussion of Fairuza Balk and Return to Oz from someone's icon:

"Tangential to that, I saw a songvid not long ago that impressed the hell out of me by mixing Fairuza Balk's role in that with her role in The Craft (okay, one scene of it) to cook up a scenario where Dorothy was schizophrenic. Fun stuff."

No sewing. But I did accomplish vidding! "Birds of Prey March" is finally coming together after kicking my butt for 2 months.

Uh-oh, there's an echo in here :)

I've seen this happen before -- comments posting double. Something to do with servers not synching up. But if we delete one, they'll both disappear.

Just wanted to clarify that I didn't mean to sound snarky about the woman not sending you feedback before. I was actually thinking something very positive: That it's just funny that it seems to be a remarkably common quirk of human nature to tell other people but not to think to send feedback, *but* that that means that there may be all kinds of positive buzz about something a person has done that she doesn't know about, and the fact that she's not getting feedback doesn't mean squat-diddle. Like Larrkin telling me that two of her friends had talked about Sanctuary Moon as an impressize zine -- while Alex and I were seriously wondering what people thought of it, since we hadn't heard a peep. Or the way I was so blown away by Cara Loup's stories that it took me about 4 months to get up the nerve to e-mail her at all. So that was what I was thinking, that there may be more positive feedback out there than we actually hear. I just kinda forgot to actually connect the dots in my comment.
