What, if any, episodes of your fandom celebrate a specific religious holiday?
The Star Wars Holiday Special. ::shudders:: The wookiees have Life Day, where they all put on red robes and astral-travel to a temple.
ST doesn't do anything with Earth religions for the most part.
Buffy did Halloween and quasi-Christmas eps.
If you have knowledge/experience with non-Judeo/Christian religions, does your fandom realistically depict non-Judeo/Christian religions?
All we get in my fandoms is nonJ/C stuff. And I think Willow is VERY off on her ideas of Wicca.
Which of your fandom’s characters profess a religion?
Luke, Ben and Yoda are Jedi.
Chewbacca has the animist religion of his people (see earlier)
Willow was raised Jewish, but says she's Wiccan.
Do your fandom’s characters act in ways that seem at odds with their professed religions?
Not in the SW'verse.
Wicca is, in my understanding, more about connecting to the deity than about the bibbitybobbityboo
What fanfic deals well with the characters' religions?
ZP Florian and Irene Heron always write Chewbacca well.
And most fanfic is about Luke learning more or learning to be a better Jedi.
