Feeling Lousy.

I have that thing where my lymph nodes are really swollen, and my ears hurt, and swallowing is brutal. Yeah, you know, that one.

I left work about noon, came home and slept until 7 ish.

There is no heat in my house. This means the main difference between inside and outside is the damp and wind. And unless I can get the kids to quit spitting and leaking and running about, I'm going outside.

Vividcon DVDs came.
"Just can't wait to be king" is good. Predictable, but well done and cute.

"Superstar" was a dreadfully annoying song. I couldn't even finish the vid, which looked lovely.

"Creole Lady marmalade" remix was brutal. By 2 minutes in, I felt like I was on the getting end of all the ass-kicking. And the long intro was jagged, jarring and horrid.

I've seen and love "Affirmation," "Teenage Dirtbag," and "Beer for my horses"

It's all a matter of taste. And dissonance will lose me every time.

I can live with cute. ;) Word of warning, Lucas has gotten mean with his copy protection. Vidding from his VHS is easier than his DVDs.
