Monday Sucks

valarltdI think I hate Monday.
Today, 4/6 of us were sick. I didn't feel too good myself. I shipped Obi off to school, went in to work and left after I got it opened up.
We also had Parent-Teacher conferences. Bunny is fine. Straight A's, invite to the Honor Society etc. Obi, mostly Bs. Teacher finds him frustrating as he knows the nmaterial but won't communicate it. Jonner, proficient in everything. It's all between his ears, and he won't open his mouth and participate.
Friday, I cam very close to walking off my job for good. Just drop the stuff off at the mailroom, and walk back to my car and go sit in the park for the rest of that gorgeous afternoon. I didn't.
We snagged the Indy DVDs for about $25. The making of features were good and the movies look best in wide screen. Steven Speilberg is smarty, funny and articulate. George Lucas is a lot less articulate. Paul Freeman (Belloq) is very funny, very composed. The Short Round screentest is great, and Ke Huy Quan (now Jonathan Ke Quan) has grown up into an extremely lickable bishounen (even at 33).
Sanctuary Moon took my poem "Skywalking." I'd forgotten how gorgeous it was.
SM is still taking submissions! Art, poetry and stories all welcome. Here's last year's cover.
Must go start dishes, fold clothes, paint a skeleton on a sweatsuit and sew batwings onto another one. And then write on something forInto the Dark/.
