valarltdI awoke to a sensation no one likes: damp underwear. My tum has been unhappy and it made itself known this morning.
So shower for me and rinse for the undies.
Went to the Post office and mailed the mermaid afghan.
The mail brought a bonus check, which we promptly spent on a new washer. I love my PT. it can fit a whole washing machine in the back.
But.., that meant cleaning. Lots of it. Bags of things needing washing. Endless bags of clothes well past salvage. And about 1/3 of the garage had to be cleaned out too. Our curb is quite full tonight.
The washer is still in the box in the garage. I mopped out the laundry room for an hour. After scrubbing it on hands and knees with a scrub brush for another forty-five minutes. The floor is drying.
Tomorrow I have a washer again. And laundry goes back to being 1.25 a load instead of 5.25 a load.
