valarltdI went looking for costuming advice in case I decide to make an Askjian costume for a con. (I'll hardly be taken seriously in a panel on "Erotica vs. Porn" when I'm wearing four extra boobs, tho')
I ran across a few things that are confusing me:
I distinctly remember the EU saying Yarna had six breasts. The pictures only show 4. Are Askjians 6 shooters or 4 packs? Must research further.
Second: I'm short-waisted. I have 4' of leg, 1' of head and this short little torso in between, How am I going to get 4 extra boobs on there and not be slinging my skirt around my hips? And how much skin do I want to show? Do I want to wer something elegant and go for the "sexy Askjian" look? Do I want to go for veracity with Yarn's hideous costume? If I wear something more concealing, are people going to notice? Or am I just going to be a "fat fangirl"?
Third: What about using falsies to create the look? Surely, some drag supplier makes tapable/spirit-gummable/suction cup falsies that look real. In which case, I'll wear something very clingy.
Other thoughts:
Finally saw "Smoke Wrings" No good shots of Denis Lawson in the lipstick by himself. Also, a bit too old in this to be intercutting with shots of Wedge.
Just gave Bib Fortuna a sex change. He is now Fortunata, a lady of exquisite taste, nearly albino with long white braids.
Don't know if this is quiten what was in mind for "The Sheik" challenge, but it's reading like a Sinbad/Arabian Nights sort of story.
Butchered Mudd's beard with the clippers. Poor dear now has a mustache. I'm a klutz. and he's mad at me.
And i still haven't finished anything for Mona, dammit.
