It's amazing how money improves one's mood. Not having it can make the world look stinky and cause fights over a $5 expenditure. Getting a windfall (unclaimed property from my late uncle) that allows the bills to be caught up and some to be put back...That makes the whole day look shiny and new.

Money can't buy happiness...after about $70,000

So I worked a LOT today, and did a lot of driving.
I work a lot more tomorrow, with more driving. I have the pieces I thought I was missing.
I work some Thursday, but need to be home to take Oli to tutoring. And some Friday and Monday. Cutting my Tuesday schedule down, because of Tutoring.

I got a bit of a promotion. They've assigned me to an account that will guarantee about 20 hours a month (plus a LOT of driving). Which isn't much, true, but it's steady.

I updated everything at All Romance Ebooks.
There's a big, One Day sale tomorrow. And Inkstained Succubus books are part of it.

And I wrote another newsletter. I need to do a blog post, but it's past bedtime, and tomorrow is hard labor.

If you want to be on the newsletter mailing list, let me know.

It was nowhere near that. It was less than $2000. But still. My month just got loads better.

The 70K comment is from here: http://www.inc.com/news/articles/2010/09/study-says-$75,000-can-buy-happiness.html
