I knew the day would suck when Obi said he felt barfy. He and Jonner went to school w/o lunches. I moved too slow to get breakfast for myself and ate peanut M&Ms.

Work was OK until someone wanted a refund for finding a lost book she'd paid for. No protocol in place, so we winged it.

Then the daycare called. Dollface stuck a rock in her ear. Way in her ear. They couldn't get it out.

I called the dr on my way out. I went by RGIS and got rehired. This is nice. This is extra income. This is paving the way for my move.

Picked up dollface, got home and was sick myself.

Started a post for the Oc_analysis list.

Phone rang, and the school said Obi, the live grenade I sent off in sentence one, had exploded. Picked him and Jonner up.

Computer ate my post.

Now we're eating lunch before Jonner's dr. appt. And Dollface's emergency trip to have a rock removed. Silly goose.

I know I'm sick because the cream of toad tastes good without pepper and is filling me up. (That's cream of mushroom soup to you non Chez Mudd residents)

I just want to watch old movies and drink ginger ale until I fall asleep.

I assume you've long since gone to the doctor, so you'll see this when you get back. How is Dollface doing? How bad was it? I got chills when I read this. I stuck a pearl in my ear when I was 5, and the removal process was something I'll never forget. Is she OK?

And btw, how are you doing? It definitely sounds like Bad Day at Black Rock. Whew.

She didn't actually have a rock in her ear. Or if she did it fell out before we went to the dr.

What she did have was a couple balls of impacted wax the size of the pea-gravel on the playground. And Jonner needs glasses.

I just got up. I went straight to bed when I got home at 4. I'm dry as a bone and still queasy. Hubby said at 4 I had the wilted look that goes with being really sick.

Chris is doing better.

I'll try working tomorrow.
