Don't forget Magnum P.I. & Mike Hammer, Privae Eye & maybe Kolchak The Night Stalker (although the latter is really more of an investigative reporter, he definitely walks the Nightside).

Not a Magnum fan much. Might give Kolchek and Dresden files a shot.

I read the Dresden books, and need to read more. Hells, maybe I need to go read some Nancy Drew.
