Monday morning, we counted an Ulta (I got 2.5 hours). There was no office work at IS, because of health issues.

Tuesday, I set up 4 TVs and did an audit

Wednesday, Cat had the big loop job. So it was all driving

Thursday, I did the Samsung galaxy refresh

Friday I drove to Jonesboro and set up a TV

Yesterday I did the Costco run for Cat, and worked at Sports Authority for 4.5 hours

This week, 7 hours, RGIS ($59). 8.12 hours Actionlink ($95+mileage). And LOTS of driving.
Line-edited a novel and 2 short stories.

Also learned that the Costco Break Room Book Club (a highly unofficial organization, membership 2) has been binge reading me. They were deep in a discussion of the character of Tanis Sparks when Cat walked in to get her paperwork done. One maintained I love Tanis so much she's a Mary Sue. the other said I hated her and it showed.
Cat laughed and said "You're both right, really."
They were amused that I was waiting in the car. they had met me at MidSouth. They've read Nikolai, Glad Hands and Alive on the Inside.

Knowing I have fans, who talk about my books, just made my day.

Living in this collective head is...interesting from a religious and magical perspective.

We have an active sorceress, a religious witch, an a shrink who is more than a bit of a wizard.

Zara is (a highly unorthodox) Christian. Yet, she's the one who drains passerby of their energy, casts wards so powerful they make the whole street hard to find, and general does the most magical work. She says it's just another skill, no different than computer programming. She's just reprogramming reality to suit her, debugging her life. Magic is applied will, she says, and since she got most of the willpower, hoo boy, does she apply it.

Hester is a religious witch. She's the one who calls quarters and invokes deities, but Zara is the one who actually channels the power. Doesn't matter if it's Hera, Hecate or St. Michael Archangel, those girls can get some stuff rolling. Hester has the altar, and the statues. She the one that tarot cards follow home. She's also the one who gets sick if we end up in a circle with incompatible energy. This is why we had to quit going to Summerland Grove.

Michelino, Dr. Mike, is nominally Catholic. We didn't know he was a wizard until he stepped in and started doing chakra work. I'm not sure how much he believes it, but he knows it's effective headology for some people. As a psychologist, he'll tell you there are no monsters. As a headologist, he'll give you a bat and a chair to stand on. (h/t Terry Prachett) Because sometimes, real or not, you have to defeat them before you can move on. Today he did an energy transfer which knocked the recipient cold for about three seconds. This bears looking into.

David has some sort of power, charm, charisma, the old incubus blood coming to the fore, whatever. He firmly denies it.

Me? Not sure. I seem to have a bit of a talent for sex magic and I seem to be the one who carries our weird luck. I'm also the maker. Hester and I do crafting together, wood-work, making runes and that kind of thing. We all like to knit and crochet, and you can tell who was out by looking at the stitches. We also have somewhat different handwriting, which was news to me. Hester seems to be mildly dyslexic, with a lot of transposition and misspelling.

We're still sorting things out. Hester wants a shot at being prime for May, but so far we tend to keep kicking her out of the slot. We'll see if she can get us up in the morning. Those microfiber sheets are hard to get out of. She likes their texture to a ridiculous extent.

Long week ahead. Long day ahead. Keeping Zara from devouring whole fast food joints is a job in itself.
